Kathryn Bach, LPC
Mental Health Counselor (South Elgin office or telehealth)
Whether you're navigating life transitions, struggling with anxiety/depression or addiction, exploring your identity, or working through family challenges, I'm here to support you. I work with children ages 8 and up, as well as teenagers, young adults, adults, and families. I bring a deep respect for your unique story and experiences. Together, we'll create a warm, judgment-free space where you can be completely authentic and open to growth.

I believe healing happens differently for everyone, which is why I blend evidence-based approaches with creative and body-centered techniques. Our sessions might include traditional talk therapy, mindfulness practices, movement exercises, or expressive arts - whatever resonates with you and supports your healing journey. You'll never feel pressured to fit into a one-size-fits-all approach because I believe therapy works best when it's tailored specifically to who you are.

What I bring to our work together is not just clinical training, but real-life wisdom gained through my own experiences as a mother and someone who has navigated significant challenges. I understand that life can feel overwhelming and complicated, but I've also witnessed the incredible resilience and beauty that emerges through healing. My goal is to walk alongside you with authenticity and compassion as you discover your own path to feeling more grounded, connected, and whole.
