Meet Our Team

Hanna Flores, LSW, CADC
Mental Health Counselor (South Elgin office or telehealth)
Taking that first step toward seeking support shows tremendous courage, and I want to acknowledge the strength it takes to be here. I'm Hanna, a licensed social worker with a Master of Social Work from Aurora University and certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). My practice welcomes individuals at every life stage—children (ages 8 and up), teens navigating challenging years, and adults of all ages seeking positive change.

I create a warm, accepting space for both individuals and couples, where your unique story is valued and heard. My experience encompasses a wide spectrum of life's challenges: navigating major transitions, managing stress and anxiety, working through depression, addressing substance use concerns, healing from domestic violence, strengthening relationships, and processing grief and loss.

What you'll find in our sessions is a genuine connection built on trust and understanding. I blend evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused methods, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness practices—all tailored specifically to your needs and goals. Rather than offering generic solutions, I collaborate with you to discover what truly works for your unique situation.

When I'm not in the therapy room, you might find me spending cherished time with my fiancé and our cats, losing myself in a good book, exploring virtual worlds through gaming, or pursuing my passion for continuous learning and growth.

I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen and understood. My promise is to meet you exactly where you are today—no judgment, no pressure—and walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth. Whenever you're ready to take that next step, I'm here to support you with compassion, expertise, and genuine care.
